Introduction to Bleeding Ink

Greetings, kindred spirits.

Though I know not how you came to find this text, I'm sure it is because we share an interest.
And that interest is very likely one of the few magics man can still wield; words.

Who I am is not nearly as important as what matters I will be writing to you of, but here is a synopsis of who I am;

To you, my name will be Edna Pellen.

Since my childhood, I have been exposed to reading and writing but never truly grasped the beauty of either of the two for a multiple of years due to the treacherous learning disability 'dyslexia'.

I count myself as a apprentice to the great wordsmiths of the past and present alike, and hope with all my heart that I can one day be as fluent in the art as them.
Perhaps, reader, you are one of these masters. Or maybe you are like me, just beginning to dabble in writing your own work.
Either way, I salute you for daring to try and your bravery to dream.

But to get back on topic...

I adore the howling wind, the rain, Autumn days, sunsets, trees, tea, music, and books.
Oh, how I love books!

But that's enough about me, for now. I can't give away all my secrets at once, or else that would make me a terribly dull writer.
(That would be my first tip; never give away all your writings' secrets in the first line.)

Onto what you should expect in my coming letters.

I will publish bits of my own work, such as short stories, poetry, and possibly promote my own novels when it comes time.
In addition, I offer my own experiences throughout my adventures with pen and ink.
I hope you find them not only entertaining, but helpful to your own journey.
May your day birth inspiration, your trials prompt you to create, and your travels be safe.

      Yours,

        Edna Pellen
